At Barrels & Branches (B&B), you'll find an acre of plants, pottery, soil amendments, and water features. Visit our gift shop stocked with indoor plants, organic fertilizers, organic pest control products, and garden-related gift items. Our helpful, energetic staff is knowledgeable and friendly, offering individualized customer service.
We offer consultations on-site at your property and can produce a working design based on your property's unique exposure and microclimate. Our landscaping experts also can provide full-service landscape design services for homes and corporate gardens sites.
 We've quickly gained a reputation for carrying a wide selection of unusual plant materials. These include euphorbias, acacias, leptospermums, leucadendrons, and many other drought-tolerant plants. Our garden center also stocks Mediterranean, South African and Australian plants that thrive in our temperate climate. Here at our retail plant nursery in Encinitas, you’ll find the largest succulent and cactus inventory in the area. The staff are proud of our expanding California native section. Customers have a great resource here for planning their water-wise designs.
B&B also carries perennials, annuals, tropicals, and shade-loving plants. If you’re on the hunt for a specific plant and can’t find it elsewhere, we can do our best to special order it for you.
