Client wishlist: turf removal, a dg & flagstone walkway leading from the sidewalk to the front door that matches the style of the house and existing retaining wall, fresh landscaping.

For the walkway, Cherokee Charcoal flagstone & San Diego Gray decomposed granite are a perfect match, and tumbled Blue Moon boulders tie in the beach rock retaining walls. Silvery-green dymondia groundcover, blue fescue and blue-gray La Paz beach pebbles further enhance the color scheme. Incorporated into this garden are the client’s favorite plants — pincushion protea and red kangaroo paw – as well as many euphorbia (also known as gopher purge) to combat their gopher problem.
